Ideally placed next to the sea and the mountains, the Golfo di Sogno campsite is the perfect starting point for exploring the wonders of Corsica’s splendid southeast region.

Close to Corsica’s Loveliest Beaches

Surf and sea fans will find an overwhelming selection of venues here, as Golfo di Sogno is situated only twenty minutes from Corsica’s most beautiful beaches. On the road leading to Bonifacio, you will come across the blue gems of Palombaggia, Santa Ghjiulia and Rondinara. Heading north, there are the beaches at Saint-Cyprien, Pinarellu and Lavu Santu.

The Mountains and the Beautiful Scenery at L’Alta Rocca

On the mountain side, there is the intermediate alpine zone of L’Alta Rocca, where the l’Ospedale and the Bavella massifs, with their “needles” overhead, are an hour’s drive away. The Cuscione plateau is also located here, to complete exceptional natural heritage. Do not pass up the opportunity to make a stop in L’Alta Rocca’s villages, such as Zonza and Levie. Starting out from Golfo di Sogno, one can make a circuit, ascending L’Alta Rocca, descending with the needles of Bavella, then passing through the Solenzara valley, with its natural pools, meeting up with the little town of Solenzara, before heading back to the Golfo di Sogno on the T10 motorway.

Porto-Vecchio, « the Salt Town »

The town centre of Porto-Vecchio is a ten-minute drive from the Golfo di Sogno campsite.

Bonifacio, « The Picturesque Capital »

Half an hour south of the Golfo di Sogno campsite, straight down the T10 motorway, you will come across the magnificent town of Bonifacio, hanging over the sea perched at the top of sheer cliffs. You can hike to the upper town from the port on foot, take the toy train, or arrive directly to upper town itself, using the carpark near the maritime cemetery. With Bonifacio as a base, you can also make an excursion to visit the Lavezzi islands.
